Using Python For Data Science

Hi there. Saw your post. I cannot say what you should do, as I do not know your situation. Anyone giving you advice based off of a few sentences is likely overconfident in their knowledge. But, if you are interested in finance, maybe start with Benjamin Felix on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yco0sC7AJ2U or "If You Can" by William Bernstein: https://www.etf.com/docs/IfYouCan.pdf. If you are still interested after those, there are many books, academic papers, and communities to explore (find some amazing people at the Bogleheads and Rational Reminder). The problem is that most people do not understand how markets (or even money in general) work, as their personal experiences are only idiosyncratic slivers at a very high level of what actually happens in aggregate. Please do not trust random people on Reddit who do not know what they are doing (some of the advice on your post was objectively incorrect). Happy to try to answer any general questions if you may have - I occasionally read and write about finance (stuff from Eugene Fama, Ken French, William Sharpe, Pauel Sameulson, Ian Ayres, Barry Nalebuff, , etc). All the best! Not sure your level of financial literacy, but here are also some basic documentaries if you are interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwkjqGd8NC4, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqa-jSuXmYw, and https://www.youtube.com/playlist?app=desktop&list=PLEjYtacsM-X5FGgXpX9hyBPfMgTu5mYh-.
